The government has hired 40 men dressed as langurs to drive away monkeys after realising the agile simians cannot be stopped from spreading panic in the parliament premises.
Posing as black-faced langurs, these trained men are armed with rubber bullet guns to drive away the monkeys who fear their distant relatives.
Urban Development Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu has already made a statement in parliament, saying the New Delhi Municipal Council has hired 40 young people for the job.
Since the BJP-led central government can't hire real langurs for this task as the previous Congress regime banned their use in 2012, it has pinned hopes on these trained men.
