Mild tremors felt in Nagpur; no damage or panic

Mild tremors were felt in some parts of this central Indian city in Maharashtra as an offshoot of the massive 7.5 Richter Scale earthquake which hit Nepal shortly before noon on Saturday, officials said.

There are no reports of any damage or panic among the citizens of the city, which is the home town of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.

Besides, no other parts of the state have reported any tremors so far, though several states in northern, eastern and western India experienced mild to sharp tremors.
