Singer Miley Cyrus has reportedly added Linda Perry to the list of collaborators for a current project.
The former Disney star was photographed hitting the studio with the 50-year-old rock singer, who has previously crafted hits for the likes of Christina Aguilera, Pink and Celine Dion, reports aceshowbiz.com.
The photograph of Cyrus and Perry was shared on image-sharing website Instagram by producer Kerry Brown, who also features in the photograph.
"What a great day blowing up headphones with @reallindaperry and @mileycyrus," Brown, who has worked with Smashing Pumpkins and Jessica Simpson among others in the past, wrote in the caption.
Cyrus has been reported working on a new solo album and a collaborative set with the rock band The Flaming Lips.
A few weeks ago, she teased the latter project when she posted on Instagram a series of topless photograph including one showing her posing with the band's frontman Wayne Coyne's girlfriend Katy Weaver.
