Sacked Delhi minister Kapil Mishra on Monday met Lt Governor Anil Baijal and submitted him his complaint regarding irregularities in transfer and posting in the Health Department and purchase of ambulances and medicines.
"I have given the complaint to the LG regarding several irregularities and scams in health department of Delhi government. I have requested his intervention in this connection," Mishra told reporters after meeting Baijal.
"LG assured me to refer the matter to Anti-Corruption Branch for a probe," he said.
Mishra on Saturday accused Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Health Minister Satyendar Jain of misappropriating health funds and claimed three health scams, including one involving Rs 300 crore.
He told media that the Kejriwal government improperly procured medicines, overpaid for ambulances, and violated rules in transfers and appointments too.
Reacting to Mishra's visit to Lt. Governor office, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Saurabh Bharadwaj said he was "surprised" as LG was "too busy" to meet other visitors.
"17,000 guest teachers have been requesting appointment to LG office time for months, LG saab is too busy. And I am sure LG has lot of work," tweeted Bharadwaj, MLA from Greater Kailash.
"MLAs funds works were stalled illegally by MCD. I requested appointment, wrote letters, sent reminders (but) LG saab never met me," he said in another tweet.
He also asked who was providing official documents to Mishra and "who was planting lies using a proxy".
