Internet services on mobile phones were again suspended here on Friday to check the spread of rumours in the Jammu region, sources in the administration said.
Mobile internet services had been restored in Jammu region 10 days back after two weeks of suspension.
Administrative sources said protests in Doda, Bhaderwah and Kishtwar areas of the Chenab Valley prompted the administration to take the precautionary measure.
Expressing solidarity with the people of the Valley, protests have been spreading in Muslim-majority areas of the otherwise peaceful Jammu region.
