Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Haryana on October 9 to unveil the statue of legendary peasant leader Sir Chhotu Ram, state Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar announced here on Thursday.
The Prime Minister will unveil the statue in Sampla, Rohtak.
He will also lay the foundation stone of a rail coach factory to be set up in Sonipat district, Khattar said.
The Haryana government has transferred 160 acres of land to the Union Railway Ministry for the factory, the Chief Minister added.
