French side Monaco has announced the signing of Manchester City's Portuguese attacking midfielder Rony Lopes.
Vadim Vasilyev, vice president and CEO of AS Monaco said on Friday the club is delighted to welcome Lopes, who is a promising star, as he has already shown great adaptability and skills of a very high level while he was on loan to French side Lille, reports Efe.
The Brazilian-born Portuguese midfielder joined Man City in 2011, after being promoted through Benfica's youth teams.
The 19-year-old player made his Premier League debut in 2013, when he replaced the Spanish David Silva in the FA Cup final, in which he scored the third goal making him the youngest goal scorer at 17 years old in the English side.
The youngster was on loan to Lille during the last season, where he earned 23 caps and netted three goals and made two assists.
