The southwest monsoon has remained subdued in the hills of Himachal Pradesh with most of the areas not experiencing any rainfall at all for the past few days, the Met office here said Sunday.
There could be rain in low and mid hills from Tuesday with chances of heavy rain at some places, it said.

There was no appreciable change in the maximum temperatures but the minimum increased by one to two notches.
The tourist towns of Manali, Dharamsala, Palampur and Chamba saw no rains.
But Shimla experienced got just mild spell of 1.2 mm of rain.
Nahan in Sirmaur district recorded the state's highest rain of 23 mm.
