'Monster-in-Law' returns as TV series

TV series based on popular romantic comedy "Monster-In-Law" is in works.

According to a report in Deadline.com, the "Carrie Diaries" developer and executive producer Amy B. Harris and "30 Rock" executive producer John Riggi are making the show, reports contactmusic.com

The multi-camera comedy will be a follow-up to the big screen version and the film's producers Chris Bender and J.C. Spink will also serve as executive producers with Harris and Riggi.

The 2005 movie was a huge hit, grossing $154.7 million at the worldwide box office.
