More threats expected but ready to counter them: Parrikar

Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar said Saturday that intelligence agencies had warned of more terror attacks in India but also assured that "all arrangements had been made to counter them".

Parrikar, who is in Goa on a two-day visit was speaking to reporters in Panaji.

"We also have intelligence inputs that there might be more terrorist attacks planned by various groups in the next few days; we have made all arrangement to counter it," Parrikar said.

He also said that care is being be taken to ensure that there is no violence during the assembly polls in Kashmir.
