Actor Mrinal Dutt has been roped in to be the host of the relationship-based TV show "Yeh Hai Aashiqui".
"Yeh Hai Aashiqui", which ran on a weekly basis, will now become a daily show.
Mrinal, who has also worked in some episodes for the bindaas channel show, says he feels "humbled to have been offered the role of playing the host".
"I have also been a part of some of the episodes in the previous seasons, so there already is a comfort level that I share with the makers of the show," Mrinal said in a statement.
The actor says he is really "excited to take up" hosting.
"However, this is the first time that I'm attempting something like this. It's a different challenge, which requires a different kind of approach as an actor and I'm really excited to take it up," he said.
The fourth season of "Yeh Hai Aashiqui" was launched with the aim of celebrating the legacy of the show by bringing refreshing tales of love on the small screen with fresh new characters.
