It was a sunny and humid Wednesday in the national capital with the maximum temperature settling two notches above the season's average at 35.5 degrees Celsius. Light rain is likely in some parts of the city on Thursday, the Met Office said.
"The sky will remain partly cloudy tomorrow (Thursday) and some parts of the city may get light rain," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The maximum and minimum temperatures will hover around 34 and 26 degrees.
Wednesday morning was pleasant and the minimum temperature settled at 26.5 degrees Celsius, average for this time of the season.
The day's maximum humidity was recorded at 95 percent.
Tuesday's maximum temperature was 33 degrees Celsius, while the minimum was 27.9 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average.
