Spain's Rafael Nadal returned to the top spot in the men's Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) world singles rankings released on Monday while Switzerland's Roger Federer came in second.
Federer lost his world number one ranking after Borna Coric of Croatia ended the Swiss' 20-match unbeaten streak on grass by claiming a 7-6 (8-6), 3-6, 6-2 victory at the Halle Open on Sunday, reports Efe.
After he won the Queen's Club title over Serbia's Novak Djokovic, Croatia's Marin Cilic climbed to the fifth spot, ahead of Bulgaria's Grigor Dimitrov and Austria's Dominic Thiem respectively.
Further down the rankings, Djokovic jumped five places to the 17th despite his Sunday's 5-7, 7-6 (7-4), 6-3 loss to Cilic.
