Kannada actress Nikita Thukral, known for films like "Prince" and "Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna" has been roped in to be a part of yet untitled Hindi remake of Malayalam super hit "Traffic", a story about organ donation narrated in a hyperlink format.
"Yes, we have roped in Nikita for the Hindi remake of 'Traffic'. I don't want to talk about her role at this moment, but we are planning to start shooting soon," the film's director Rajesh Pillai, who had helmed the original as well, told IANS.
"Traffic", which was inspired by real events, was recently made in Tamil as "Chennaiyil Oru Naal" and garnered critical acclaim.
The director is still to finalise the remaining cast for the remake.
"The casting is going on for the Hindi version. I can't talk about the rest of the cast until it is finalized," he added.
