State-run NMDC Ltd on Thursday reported 11.5 per cent rise in its standalone net profit to Rs 511.88 crore during the quarter ended March 31, 2017 as compared to Rs 459.08 crore in the year-ago period.
Its income from operation in the quarter under review was at Rs 2,871.60 crore, up by 87.6 per cent from Rs 1,530.14 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.
Its consolidated net profit in 2016-17 stood at Rs 2,546.10 crore as against Rs 2,543.86 crore in 2015-16.
The miner said the total dividend payment for 2016-17 aggrgates to Rs 5.15 per equity share.
On Thursday, its scrip was up 1.64 per cent to Rs 117.50 over the previous day's close at BSE.
