Producer Allu Aravind has confirmed that Ram Charan-starrer Telugu actioner "Dhruva", a remake of Tamil blockbuster "Thani Oruvan", will hit the screens worldwide on October 7 marking the occasion of Dussehra.
"The final schedule of the talkie portion is in progress and will be wrapped up by September 5. Simultaneously, we're also working on the post-production. Contrary to some reports, there won't be any delay in the release of 'Dhruva', which will hit the screens on October 7," Aravind said in a statement.
Directed by Surender Reddy, the project stars Rakul Preet Singh and Arvind Swamy in the lead roles.
Playing an IPS officer for the first time in his career, Ram Charan will be seen in an action avatar. He had gone on a special vegetarian diet for the character.
