The first edition of the North-East Mega Crafts Expo 2015 will commence from Friday at Dilli Haat here. It promises to offer a collection of best of handloom and handicraft products and more from the region.
The expo, which is an effort to present the essence of diversity and range of northeast India's crafts and culture, is organised by the Sadar Hills Autonomous District Council, Kangpokpi, Manipur. It will conclude on Jan 31, read a statement.
Apart from handloom and handicraft products, there will be ethnic cuisine from the eight states - Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura.
The expo will entertain visitors with live rock music and cultural shows too.
