A delegation from Norway led by Foreign Affairs Minister Borge Brende arrived in India on Sunday to discuss trade ties with External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj in a meet beginning Monday.
The delegation will participate in the 5th India-Norway Joint Commission Meeting here. It will hold talks with Sushma Swaraj on bilateral issues concerning renewable energy, skill development, fisheries, education, culture and health, besides others.
"India and Norway enjoy close and friendly relations marked by high-level visits, commercial exchanges and people-to-people contacts," an official statement issued here said.
The Norwegian minister will also visit Mumbai where the Consulate General of Norway would be re-opened on Tuesday.
