A musical based on romantic comedy sports movie "Bull Durham" will premiere in September 2014.
"Bull Durham", the movie, features actors Kevin Costner, Tim Robbins and Susan Sarandon.
Director Ron Shelton, who scored a best screenplay Oscar nomination for the 1988 film, has adapted the script for the musical version as well, reports hollywoodreporter.com.
Singer-songwriter Susan Werner will pen down the music and lyrics for the stage adaptation, to be directed by Kip Fagan.
The musical will debut in Alliance Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia.
