Former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah congratulated Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal as his party headed for a landslide win in Delhi and wished him good luck.

"Wow, well done Delhi and well done Aam Aadmi Party. Good luck to Arvind Kejriwal for the next 5 years," he tweeted.

In another tweet, Omar Abdullah said: "If there is lesson for the Congress in this it is that Modi and BJP aren't unbeatable if you take the fight to them, don't wait for mistakes."

"Finally dear BJP for India and JKPDP can we please get a Govt in J&K now? You said wait for Delhi and we waited. Now we don't want to wait longer," he tweeted.
