Pakistan Army chief Raheel Sharif met British Prime Minister David Cameron here and discussed issues related to regional security, media reported Thursday.
Gen Sharif raised issues related to proscribed organisations, anti-Pakistan elements operating from outside Pakistan and measures to choke terror financing, Dawn reported.
He also held talks on regional security and mutual defence cooperation with British Defence Secretary Michael Fallon and Chief of Defence Staff General Sir Nicholas Houghton.
Gen Sharif, who is on a three-day visit to Britain beginning Wednesday, also discussed intelligence-sharing and counter-terrorism cooperation with other top defence officials.
The Pakistan military in June 2014 launched an all-out operation, called "Zarb-e-Azb", against the Taliban militants in the region which is still underway.
Gen Sharif also apprised Britain's top defence officials about the ongoing operation.
