Pakistani Maritime Security Ship (PMSS) "Kashmir" on Monday reached Colombo port on a four-day goodwill visit, the Navy media unit said here.
The visiting ship was welcomed by the Sri Lanka Navy. The Commanding Officer of PMSS Kashmir, Captain Azhar Mahmood, called on the Commander of the Western Naval Area, Rear Admiral Nishantha Ulugetenne, and the two held discussions on matters of mutual importance, Xinhua news agency reported.
The ship's crew was scheduled to visit some of the popular tourist attractions across the island and take part in friendly sports matches organized by the Sri Lanka Navy.
The Pakistani ship is scheduled to set sail from the Colombo harbour on August 16.
