An officer of the paramilitary Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) was found dead on Thursday in the force's camp in Jammu and Kashmir's Ramban district, police said.
Inspector Ramesh Chandra Joshi found dead in his quarters in the camp in Sangaldhan area of Ramban.
"He belonged to Uttarakhand. An FIR has been lodged in the incident and investigation is on to find out the reasons behind the officer's death," a senior police officer said.
