It was a cloudy and pleasant Tuesday in the national capital as the maximum temperature settled two notches above the season's average at 35.6 degrees Celsius. The weather is expected to remain similar on Wednesday, the Met Office said.
Wednesday will see partly cloudy sky and the maximum and minimum temperatures will hover around 36 and 27 degrees respectively, said the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
Tuesday morning was humid and the minimum temperature settled at 26.4 degrees Celsius, slightly below the season's average.
The day's maximum humidity was recorded at 89 percent.
Monday's maximum temperature settled at 32 degrees Celsius, slightly below the season's average, while the minimum settled four notches below the season's average at 23.3 degrees Celsius.
