Police said on Monday they are working on some clues in a bid to trace the killers of a 25-year-old hotel executive shot dead here four days ago.
Naman Verma was killed when he was on way to his home from the five-star hotel Rennaisance in Gomti Nagar where he began working on November 4.
In a four-year live-in relationship with a Delhi girl, with whom he was soon to tie the knot, police said they were studying his Facebook account, cell phone records and WhatsApp details of the deceased.
"We have stumbled on some clues and are working on them. We hope to get a breakthrough soon," an official involved in the investigation told IANS.
Police are checking some telephone numbers which the victim dialled regularly.
Initially police said that Naman died in an accident but the post-mortem revealed two bullet wounds.
