Pope Francis revealed on Thursday that when he was young he dreamt of growing up to be a butcher, as he admired those who practiced this profession when he used to go to the market with his mother and grandmother.
The Pope revealed his childhood dream job when he was asked by one of the members of the children's choir, whom he received on Thursday in Vatican City, EFE reported.
The Argentine pontiff explained that he wanted to be like one of the butchers who used their knives as if they were practicing an art, which he admired back in the day.
"And then, obviously, I changed my mind," he added.
