Posters have come up in Nawada parliamentary constituency regarding its BJP MP and union minister Giriraj Singh, accusing him of not visiting the segment since after the May 2014 win and doing nothing on the developmental front.
The posters in Hindi, claiming the local MP has gone "missing", were found pasted at different places in Barbigha town in Sheikhpura district of Bihar on Thursday, a district police official said.
"Even after one and a half years, Giriraj Singh has not utilised the funds from his Member of Parliament Local Area Development Scheme for developmental work in Barbigha," the posters said.
A local resident, Dhananjay Singh, said that many people in Barbigha approved of the posters and vented anger against Singh.
The posters carried a list of problems faced by the voters in the constituency.
Giriraj Singh has courted controversy in the past with his different statements.
