Congress' strategist for Uttar Pradesh, Prashant Kishor met Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh at his residence here on Tuesday, sources said.
According to the sources, SP leader Amar Singh was also present in the meeting.
While the details of the meeting were not revealed, it comes as speculation is on about Congress and SP looking at forging an alliance in poll-bound Uttar Pradesh.
Kishor, said to be close to party Vice President Rahul Gandhi, is formulating the strategy for Congress in the state.
Earlier, Kishor and SP Uttar Pradesh chief Shivpal Yadav are said to have met at Janata Dal-United (JD-U) leader KC Tyagi's residence.A
Shivpal Yadav has also invited Rashtriya Lok Dal leader Ajit Singh and Tyagi to the anniversary function of SP on November 5.
