Director Manish Tiwary has changed the name of the lead actress in his movie "Isaaq" from Amy to Amyra Dastur in order to avoid any confusion with the actor's ex-girlfriend.
Amyra, 16, will be romancing Prateik, 26, in the movie adaptation of Shakespeare's "Romeo And Juliet".
Prateik was dating British actress Amy Jackson and Tiwary did not want people to create false rumours about the lead pair of his movie.
"It was a decision that everybody took together to make sure there is no confusion between the two girls and to avoid any link up stories since Prateik and Amy's relation has been spoken about so much," Tiwary said in a statement.
Prateik and Amy started dating each other after working together in "Ekk Deewana Tha", but later called it quits.
