"'Pukaar' is our tribute to the Indian army and we are extremely proud of our association with Vipul Shah who masters this genre. The viewers will get to see a different style of action rarely explored on the small screen," Ajit Thakur, general manager, Life OK, said at the press conference at the Le Meridian hotel here .
The 12-week long series will telecast 24 episodes starting Nov 24.
Vipul Shah, who is also directing the show, said that Rannvijay was a perfect fit for the character as he comes from an army background. He also said that with "Pukaar", he intends to raise the bar of action to a different level altogether for the small screen.
