Quilmes defeated San Lorenzo 3-0 at home to claim their first victory in eight matches in the Argentinian first division soccer league.
In the Centenario Stadium here on Sunday, the goals were scored by Ezequiel Rescaldani (16 minutes and 58 minutes - the first one a penalty) and Matias Orihuela (53 minutes), reports Xinhua.
Quilmes currently have 10 points and San Lorenzo, one of Argentina's most popular teams, currently have 12 points.
Godoy Cruz now stand at the top of the standings on 17 points, followed by Rosario Central and Independiente, both with 14 points.
