New Delhi, April 20 (IANS) The skies remained partly cloudy in the capital Saturday and the maximum temperature settled a notch above average at 38.6 degrees Celsius. The Met office has forecast light rains Sunday.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Delhi residents can expect thunderstorm accompanied by light rains in some parts of the city Sunday.
The maximum and minimum temperatures will hover around 38 and 21 degrees Celsius.
Saturday's minimum temperature was a notch below average at 20.7 degrees Celsius, while the days' maximum humidity was recorded at 62 percent.
Friday's maximum temperature settled two notches above the season's average at 37.9 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature settled a degree below average at 20.3 degrees Celsius.
