Rainy Monday likely in Karnataka

Most places in Karnataka would experience rain and thundershowers on Monday, the weather office said.

Bengaluru city, which recorded a rainfall of 9.7 mm on Sunday, might again see a spell or two of rain and thundershowers, Met officials said.

While the maximum temperature here was likely to hover around 29 degrees Celsius, the minimum temperature was recorded at 19 degrees Celsius, officials added.

On Sunday, the maximum temperature here was 27.2 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season's average while the minimum temperature was 19.5 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average.
