Rajiv Takru, a 1979 batch IAS officer of the Gujarat cadre, will be the new revenue secretary in the finance ministry, it was announed here Tuesday.
Takru, who is currently secretary in the department of financial services, will replace Sumit Bose on his retirement March 31, 2014.
Gurdial Singh Sandhu, a 1980 batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the Rajasthan cadre, will be the new secretary of financial services.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the new postings, according to an official statement released here.
