Actress Ramya Krishnan is most likely to reunite with actor-filmmaker Kamal Haasan after a decade in his upcoming yet-untitled Tamil film, which also features Shruti Haasan in an important role.
"Kamal has approached Ramya to play his wife in his next film. The talks have been initiated but she's yet to give her nod," a source close to Haasan told IANS.
Kamal and Ramya had previously worked together in 2002 Tamil comedy "Panchathantiram".
Malayalam filmmaker T.K. Rajeev Kumar has been roped in to direct the project, which will feature Shruti as Kamal's daughter on the screen.
To be produced Kamal, who has also penned the script, the film will be predominantly shot in the US.
Maestro Ilayaraja is expected to be roped in to compose the music.
The project is slated to go on the floors from April or May.
