Real coach Ancelotti lashes out at Bale's agent for comments

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has lashed out at midfielder Gareth Bale's agent following the latter's claims that his team's players are refusing to pass to the Welshman.

Bale,25, has struggled to be at his best in the current season and has been strongly criticised in recent weeks following disappointing performances.

He was also put under the scanner after his display in Madrid's Champions League semi-final first leg against Juventus last week, with the Welshman having fewer touches on the ball than goalkeeper Iker Casillas in the 1-2 defeat away at Turin.

"Bale's agent has never seen a training session and does not know anything about Bale's relationship with his teammates," Ancelotti was quoted as saying by goal.com on Tuesday.

"Bale likes his teammates and his teammates like Bale. It would have been better had his agent kept quiet. I really don't know what he was trying to achieve because Bale is happy at Madrid.

"We are happy with Bale this season. I spoke with him and he is happy to be here. Last season he scored in decisive matches and he could do it again."
