New Delhi, July 6 (IANS/EFE) Former Real Madrid defender Roberto Carlos has been named the coach of the Delhi Dynamos, an Indian First-Division club, media reported on Monday.
"It's OFFICIAL! Roberto Carlos will be the Delhi Dynamos Marquee Manager for the Hero ISL - Indian Super League 2015 season," the team said on Twitter.
Roberto Carlos, who has coached Russia's Anzhi Makhachkala, Turkey's Sivasspor and Akhisar Belediyespor clubs, and Qatar's Al-Arabi, will begin working with the Indian team's players in the next few days.
"Good day to everyone. This is to inform you that I am the new coach of India's Delhi Dynamos. An interesting project with a club that is growing. I am very happy to be a part of this club," Roberto Carlos tweeted.
