French Consulate General here has confirmed Roland-Garros Tennis Club will open in this city next year.
The French Tennis Association will actively assist establishing the club as well as helping in tournament planning, organization and management, the French Consulate General said on Wednesday, reports Xinhua news agency.
China Electric Construction Real Estate Group Co. Ltd and the Wuhan Huangpi District Government will complete the contract with the French Tennis Association on September 30.

The club is expected to hold a series of tournaments in the 2019-2020 season in a bid to attract more Chinese teenagers to participate in tennis and enjoy the charm of the clay surface that will be installed at the club.
