Real Madrid's Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo participated in part of his squad's training on Sunday and showed signs of recovery from his muscle injury that prevented him from taking part in any of the last three matches.
According to Real Madrid's official website, "Cristiano Ronaldo worked with the group for the first half of the session, before training individually out on the pitch during the second half".
Under command of French head coach Zinedine Zidane, the Merengues are preparing for the second leg of the Champions League semi-finals against Manchester City at the Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday.
Zidane trusts that his countryman Karim Benzema will be able to participate in the second leg against the English side, which snatched a 0-0 draw against Los Blancos during the first leg at Etihad Stadium last week.
