Cristiano Ronaldo on Monday thanked Portuguese fans at the National Rugby Centre of France here for supporting their national team during the ongoing European football championship.
After hundreds of fans gathered around the Portuguese training base to wish their team good luck ahead of the match against Wales on Wednesday in the tournament's semi-finals, the players came out to thank them, reports Efe.
"We are here to thank you for the support you are giving us. We have not won anything yet, but we are going to try and give our best in the semi-final and the final. Carry on with your support, we feel it and it makes us very proud. Thank you all very much," said the Real Madrid star, who signed autographs and did not hesitate to take selfies with the fans.
