The government-run Rural Development and Self-Employment Training Institute (RUDSETI) organised a training session for entrepreneurs in collaboration with US-based software company Intuit.

RUDSETI director K.P. Pant said the organisation was imparting technical skill to unemployed youth so that they could earn their livelihood.

The trained youth, however, were unable to graduate to the entrepreneur level with a turnover of Rs.5 lakh and above.

Realising this problem, Amit Tuteja of the Connecting Dreams Foundation tied up with RUDSETI and Intuit to launch a learning programme for youth, where they were taught business planning, branding, production designing and accounting.

RUDSETI is under the ministry of rural development.
