Financial authorities in Russia on Tuesday presented a special edition of the 100-ruble bill that was created for the upcoming FIFA World Cup.
Russian Central Bank first deputy governor Olga Skorobogatova and Joint Stock Company Goznak's general director Arkady Trachuk unveiled the new bill, which is worth around $1.63, at a press conference here, reported Efe.
One side of the blue and green note shows a child clutching a football as he stares up at Russia's legendary goalkeeper Lev Yashin mid-action.
The other side includes an image of the Earth transformed into a football.
The 2018 FIFA World Cup is scheduled to start on June 14 with a match between Egypt and Uruguay.
