Russian land forces commander-in-chief Col.Gen. Oleg Leonidovich Salukov is on his four-day India visit beginning Monday, an official statement said.
On the first day of his visit, Leonidovich interacted with Indian Army chief Gen Dalbir Singh. He also paid homage at the Amar Jawan Jyoti and reviewed a guard of honour.
The Russian official is also scheduled to visit the Indian Army's southwestern command headquarters at Jaipur and the Parachute Training School and Independent Parachute Brigade at Agra, the statement said.
