Ryan Group MD held for molesting employee

The managing director of the Ryan Group was arrested on Tuesday for molesting a newly-appointed woman employee, police said.

G.K. Aggarwal, 41, was arrested for molesting the woman, who hails from Raipur but had been studying in Delhi, and had came to Gurgaon to join her job.

In her complaint, registered at DLF phase 2 police station, the woman said that she was called for an interview by Ryan group on Saturday and was asked to join the job on Monday after being declared selected, said Assistant Commissioner of Police Hawa Singh.

He said when the woman reached Ryan's head office in DLF Phase 2 area, Aggarwal offered to take her to visit of the group's Kapashera unit. While returning, he allegedly bought a few bottles of beer and forced her to drink. He then drove the car to an isolated place and started molesting her.

When she objected and raised her voice, he drove back and dropped her near the Sikanderpur metro station.

Sudeep Kumar, the chief of DLF phase 2 police station, told IANS that several police teams were conducting raids to nab him right from the time the case was registered on Monday.
