Brazilian football giants Sao Paulo are considering a move for Inter Milan midfielder Hernanes.
Hernanes has struggled with the Italian club since his August transfer from rivals Lazio, reports Xinhua.
Sao Paulo are said to be seeking midfield reinforcements after the exit of Kaka, who will join new Major League Soccer (MLS) franchise Orlando City next month.
"Sao Paulo are in the market for a marquee replacement though finding funds to secure Hernanes would be difficult," football news portal Sambafoot said.
Sao Paulo finished the 2014 Brazilian Serie A season in second place, ensuring them a berth in next year's Copa Libertadores, South America's premier club competition.
