New Delhi, April 17 (IANS) The Supreme Court Wednesday gave Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt four more weeks to surrender following his conviction under the Arms Act in the 1993 Mumbai bombings case.

The actor had asked the court for six months to complete his films. The apex court had pronounced its order March 21. While upholding Dutt's conviction under the Arms Act for possessing illegal arms, the court reduced his sentence from six to five years.

Sanjay has already completed one-and-half years in jail and has to serve the remainder three-and-half years.
