Security forces search for militants in Kulgam

A day after they killed three militants, security forces on Monday resumed a cordon and search operation in Khudwani area in Jammu and Kashmir's Kulgam district.

Police said following specific information about the presence of militants, troops of Rashtriya Rifles, the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and police started the operation in Wani Mohalla.

"Searches are in progress," a police officer said.

Three militants, including a Pakistani national, were killed by security forces in the area on Sunday.
