The supporters of Spanish football club Sevilla welcomed the team with open arms here on Thursday after they won the Europa League for the third consecutive time.
The team landed on Thursday morning at Seville's San Pablo airport in the south of Spain, after Wednesday's 3-1 victory over Liverpool in the final match in Basel, Switzerland, reports Efe.
The Spanish club won their fifth Europa League title overall on Wednesday and the third straight trophy.
The Sevilla team will rest on Thursday without any planned celebrations and return to training on Friday in preparation for Sunday's Copa del Rey final against Fc Barcelona at the Vicente Calderon stadium in Madrid.
It is scheduled that Unai Emery, the Sevilla coach, will lead another workout on Saturday in Seville and hold a press conference before travelling to Madrid.
