Actor Sharwanand is all set to don khaki for the first time in his career in a yet-untitled Telugu film to be directed by debutant Chandramohan, an erstwhile assistant of filmmaker Karunakaran.
"Sharwanand plays an entertaining policeman. We are happy to be producing his 25th film. He has never attempted such a role before and we are confident that the film will appeal to all sections of the audience," the film's producer BVSN Prasad said in a statement.
The makers have already completed the first schedule of the film, which also stars Lavanya Tripathi.
With the second schedule slated to start next week, the plan is to wrap up the film in the next two months.
