Filmmaker Karan Johar has announced that his production venture "Shhuddhi" will star superstar Salman Khan and it will release during Diwali in 2016.
"SHHUDDHI will star SALMAN KHAN and will release Diwali 2016.....@shhuddhimovie," Karan tweeted Wednesday.
Salman Khan too confirmed the news to media persons by saying: "I am doing 'Shhuddhi'"
Intially, Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor were finalised as the lead pair of the film, to be directed by Karan Malhotra. But later Hrithik announced that he had pulled out of the project.
